Louder than a Mom, the storytelling show about parents and parenting, returns to Martyrs', 3855 N. Lincoln Ave., tonight at 8pm. Tickets are $8. 21+
Idlewild @ Bottom Lounge
Scottish indie rockers Idlewild have been on a break for a few years, but earlier this year they returned with Everything Ever Written. It's yet another solid effort from the band that's been known for its aggressive angular guitar rock and poetic lyrics. Idlewild headlines Bottom Lounge during a very quick US tour. The show's 17+, $20 and starts at 8PM. Bottom Lounge is at 1375 W. Lake.
