This evening MAS Context presents Mark Pasnik and Chris Grimley, principals of the Boston-based over,under. The duo will lecture about The Heroic Project, an exhibition and book documenting mid-century Boston architecture. The lecture, part of MAS Context's 2015 Fall Talks, will take place at the historic Charnley-Persky House, the headquarters of the Society of Architectural Historians. Scholar and curator Barry Bergdoll will speak on "Reading Mile High: Frank Lloyd Wright Takes on Chicago" tonight in the Claudia Cassidy Theater at the Chicago Cultural Center. The lecture will address mid-century architecture and Wright's design for a mile-high building. Bergdoll is professor of art history at Columbia University and former curator of architecture and design at the Museum of Modern Art, New York. The program is part of the Chicago Architecture Biennial in partnership with the One Book One Chicago program. The Neo-Futurists host a video-game-based fundraiser, The Neocade, starting tonight at 7:00pm.
