One of a Kind Show @ Merchandise Mart

The annual One of a Kind Show runs through Sunday at the Merchandise Mart, 222 Merchandise Mart Plaza, 7th floor. Hours today are 10am - 7pm. Tickets are $12 for adults; children 12 and under are free. Special ticket packages are also available online. A portion of all ticket sales will benefit Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital.

Book Drive & Sale @ Roden Branch Library

Just in time to stock up on literature for the holidays! Come buy books today to benefit the Roden Branch of the Chicago Public Library, 6083 N. Northwest Hwy., from 10am to 4pm. Sponsored by Norwood Park Senior Center.

Julmarknad @ Swedish American Museum

This annual Christmas Bazaar features crafts, a cafe, and entertainment to celebrate the holiday. Event runs 10am-5pm today (Sunday 10am-4pm) at the Swedish American Museum, 5211 N. Clark. Admission $2.

Renegade Holiday Craft Fair

The Renegade Holiday Craft Fair is at the Bridgeport Art Center, 1200 W. 35th St., today and Sunday from 11am to 6pm. Shop for handmade stuff from more than 250 vendors. Admission is free.

Mindy Segal @ Read It and Eat!

Hot Chocolate's own Mindy Segal runs a baking demo of several of her finest cookie creations today at Read It and Eat, 2142 N. Halsted, from 1-4pm. Tickets $35 ($60 if you want to add on a copy of her fantastic book Cookie Love).

XMas Strikes Back Pub Crawl

This day-long "Star Wars" themed bar crawl (1:30-8:00pm) goes through Lakeview and features a costume contest and trivia battles for swag to promote the upcoming movie; attendees get a santa hat and mini-light saber to celebrate the season. Tickets start at $20; kick-off is at Headquarters Lakeview (2833 N Sheffield Ave).

CIMMFest Holiday Fundraiser @ Music Box

CIMMFest, the Chicago International Movies and Music Festival, hosts a Holiday Fundraiser tonight at the Music Box Theatre, 3733 N. Southport Ave. There will be a cocktail reception from 5 to 7:30pm, followed by a screening of ¡Que Viva Mexico! with live musical accompaniment by Mexican folk sextet Sones de México at 7:30pm. Tickets for the reception are $100; the film only is $15.

Gary Baseman Pop-Up @ Rotofugi

Cult artist Gary Baseman appears at Rotofugi, 2780 N. Lincoln Ave., tonight from 5 to 8pm for a special signing and pop-up exhibit. A variety of Baseman-designed toys will be available in addition to his art.

You're Being Ridiculous @ Mayne Stage

You're Being Ridiculous, the sassy, funny and fun storytelling show created by Jeremy Owens, is back tonight at Mayne Stage in Rogers Park. With three shows this month, there's sure to be a date that matches your calendar. Come out tonight to hear stories on the theme "Beauty" from Mandy Aguilar, Robert Cornelius, Sarah Follmer, Dennis Frymire,

Naked Raygun @ Concord Music Hall

Put on your favorite denim punk vest (or your black leather jacket) and come out tonight to see Naked Raygun at Concord Music Hall, 2047 N. Milwaukee Ave. Chicago's fiercest punk band will be playing alongside Direct Hit! and Death and Memphis. Tonight's show, curated by Riot Fest, is just one of three Raygun's December performances. They'll be hitting the Turner Ballroom in Milwaukee, Wis. in Dec. 4 and Brauerhouse in Lombard on Dec. 6.
