The Adler Planetarium's after hours party is
Gint Aras, writer of Finding the Moon in Sugar, will be celebrating the release of his latest book The Fugue at City Lit Books, 2523 N. Kedzie Blvd. He will be discussing the fifteen year journey of writing the novel as well as reading some excepts. Aras will be joined by world-class violinist Maria Storm for a short performance of a fugue. You can read a review of The Fugue over in Book Club and admission is free for this event.
Singer-songwriter Michelle McGuire performs live at the Hideout, 1354 W. Wabansia Ave., tonight, with Brian Johannesen opening. Doors are at 8pm, show's at 9, and tickets are $10. 21+
