In Like a Lamb, Out Like a Windy City Roller

The month started with slam as the Windy City Rollers played their fifth bout of the season on May 2. Hell's Belles walloped the Double Crossers 140-60, while Manic Attackers once again took down The Fury 150-74.

The next bout is a big 'un, determining which teams will go on to play in the Ivy King Cup Championship on June 20. If you haven't checked out Chicago's flat-track roller derby scene, this is the time to do it. The bout on Saturday, May 30 pits The Hell's Belles against the Manic Attackers, while The Fury will play the Double Crossers. The action starts at 6 p.m. at the UIC Pavilion, 525 S. Racine.
