WCR All-Stars Heading to Regional Tournament
The Windy City Rollers' travel team, the WCR All-Stars have snagged a spot in this year's North Central Regional Brawl of America tournament, to be held Sept. 18-20 in St. Paul, Minn.
After shutting out Baltimore's Charm City Roller Girls during their August 29 bout (117-98), the All-Stars have a 6-1 record for the year. At the regional tournament, WCR will compete against nine other roller derby leagues. The winner will advance to the fourth annual WFTDA National Championship, set for Nov. 13-15 in Philadelphia.
