Cubs Choose Spring Training Home
The Chicago Cubs have decided where they will make their spring training home. And the winner is Mesa Arizona. They signed a 25-year deal to keep them where they are now. The deal includes an $84-million brand new state of the art training facility.
There was speculation as to whether or not the Cubs would remain in Mesa after officials from Naples Florida came calling with an offer that Mesa wasn't offering at the time. However, in the end the Cubs will remain right where they have been for more than 50 years.
