Chicago Slaughter Open Up Season at Home
Defending CIFL Champions the Chicago Slaughter, will be opening up their title defense Saturday night against the Rochester Raiders at the Sears Center in suburban Hoffman Estates. The Slaughter, in addition, to showing off their new and hard-won championshiip hardware will be introducing new team owner, Jim McMahon; yes, that Jim McMahon. McMahon and Slaughter running back Jarrett Payton --yes, that Payton family-- will have a ceremonial "first play" with McMahon handing off to Payton ala, the McMahon-Sweetness handoffs oh-so many years ago at Soldier Field.
Tickets start at a mere $8.00! and the first 3,000 fans get a commemorative McMahon headband.
