Windy City Rollers: Double Crossers, Fury Win
The Windy City Rollers bout last Saturday, May 1 at the UIC Pavilion was notable--not merely for the high-paced, tight games, but because the winning teams will go on to compete in the Ivy King Cup Championship game on June 5th.
In the first game, Hell's Belles were giving The Fury a run for their money when finally Fury jammer Kola Loka took the lead and pushed her team to victory over the Belles, 125-110. In the second game, Double Crossers continued their spree as they triumphed over last year's Ivy King Cup defending champion Manic Attackers, 121-91.
The next bout, on Saturday, May 22, will pit the Hell's Belles vs. Manic Attackers, and in a preview of the championship, The Fury vs. the Double Crossers. Check here for more info and online tickets.
