Bolland's Beauty Boosts Blackhawks
If you missed the Blackhawks' home-and-home series against Nashville last weekend, you missed a classic goal from Dave Bolland in Sunday's 6-3 win.
Taking a pass in stride at center ice, Bolland completely twisted around defenseman Ryan Suter, moving the puck from his forehand to his backhand before beating goalie Anders Lindback five-hole. The goal, his second of the game, tied the score at 2 in the second period.
Given that Bolland's been one of Chicago's biggest disappointments so far this season ... well, more of that please. He's picked up six points in his past four games and his defensive play and stronger performance in the faceoff circle are starting to look a lot more like the clutch player he was last postseason.
