Manic Attackers Prepare to Fend Off the Fury, Hell's Belles Get Red-Hot Against the Double Crossers
There's nothing like revenge to get the blood going, amirite?
After getting knocked out of the position for first place, the Windy City Rollers team the Fury is gnashing their teeth for a chance to wallop their biggest rivals this season, the Manic Attackers, at the upcoming bout this Saturday, April 21. This is the last game before the playoffs on Sun., May 13 for the Ivy King Cup Championship. Expect both teams to be skating hard and hitting even harder.
The evening's other game pits the Hell's Belles against the Double Crossers. While the Belles aren't in the lead, they do have the distinction of breaking the Fury's two-year winning streak at an infamous bout last February. Oh, the Belles didn't just beat the Fury -- they slayed them, ending the game 140-79.
The first game kicks off at 6 p.m., and it all goes down at the UIC Pavilion (525 S Racine). Tickets start at $20; get yours online or at the door.
