Jackie Robinson West Parading Through Chicago
After a kings welcome upon their arrival back at Midway Airport, the Jackie Robinson West little league team will get the full champions treatment with a Wednesday parade through Chicago.
The festivities will kick off at 9 a.m. at their home field of Jackie Robinson Park, located at 10540 South Morgan Street, with a neighborhood celebration. Starting at 10 a.m., the team will take off on their parade route north through the city and end at Millennium Park around 11 a.m.
According to the mayor's office, here's a full rundown on the parade route and recommended gathering areas:
Northbound on Aberdeen to 105th
East on 105th to Halsted
Northbound on Halsted from 105th to 35th Street
Eastbound on 35th Street to Indiana
Northbound on Indiana to 31st Street
Merge onto northbound Michigan Ave.
Northbound on Michigan Ave to Randolph
Gathering areas:
103rd and Halsted
95th and Halsted
87th and Halsted
79th and Halsted
63rd and Halsted

The national champs and international runners-up will be on television once again today, as most local network affiliates will be broadcasting the parade live. The Chicago audience is no stranger to this team, as JRW scored ratings of 13.4 and 15.0 for their final two contests in Williamsport. Those numbers account for nearly one-third of television homes in the city.
