- We can't say this enough, and will keep repeating it until that Thursday with increasingly ridiculous promises: come June 30th, we're having a discussion with Paul Hornschemeier about his new graphic novel, Life With Mr. Dangerous! You should definitely be there. There will be free ponies and candy.
- Comics and the healing arts come together this weekend at Graphic Medicine, a convention about "the use of comics in medical education and patient care. It's happening at Northwestern University.
- Speaking of comics (for the third time this post), Scott McCloud's teaching a (free!) class at Northwestern.
- Book Club's Emily Wong talks to Frances McNamara about Death at Pullman: An Emily Cabot Mystery.
- Marcus Sakey (The Two Deaths of Daniel Hayes) is having a unique and kind of awesome contest. The prize? Being a character in his next book.
- Quickies is no more (but they're having one last event), and The Paper Machete is moving.
