Find Your New Favorite Local Bookstore

bbr.jpgThose who love books must also, by the rule of logic, love bookstores. And Chicago has some of the best independent bookstores in the country, at least as far as I'm concerned. It looks like I'm not the only one -- there is, in fact, a Tumblr account dedicated entirely to becoming "a comprehensive list of experiences at the 100+ small and independent bookstores in the city of Chicago."

Be still, my heart.

Bookstores of Chicago has pictures, information and comprehensive reviews of what one might expect in each of these bookstores. And the most recent review is one of my personal faves: Logan Square's terrific speculative fiction and punk rock bookstore Bucket O' Blood Books and Records. So find yourself a new bookstore, and read more books!

Thanks for the mention! I also collect all my posts on a Facebook page (that I'm not very good about updating), so you can find me there too if that's your thing.
