And I wonder why it's so damn quiet over here. Two blocks from Wrigley and I hear no cheering. Damn. Ah well. Less drunk people to come around screaming down the street for me.
I think Chicago will win!
Shawn Estes getting his ass handed to him in the first inning of the first game of the series is a bad, bad omen for North Siders. Now the Cubs go into the next two games with an overextended bullpen. Bad, bad sign for Cubs fans.
But ehhhhhh... as Alex put it, Chicago's still gonna win, so what is there to bitch about, really?
It's not just one game these days. They play 3 at each park. The cubbies will take one of the last 2 at wrigley this weekend. I doubt they'll beat both Buerhle and Colon. Then when they head down to U.S. Cellular (ick), I hope they'll take 2 of 3 to at least even the series. If timing works out better, Wood and/or Prior will be pitching in that series.
Definitely the Sox. Northsiders manage to fill their stadium but don't have much to cheer for. Here come the Sox!
2-1 Sox for the series. We'll have to see how the next three go.

It's 6-1 Sox in the third. Maybe this'll give'em what they need to turn this season around.
