The Berghoff hosts its annual Oktoberfest celebration Sept. 10-12 in Federal Plaza, 50 W. Adams St., from 11am to 9pm each day. Enjoy beer, brats and live music. Admission is free.
The World Music Festival runs Sept. 11-21 in a variety of locations around town. Tonight's shows include Vieux Farka Touré and Bombino at 6pm in the Pritzker Pavilion, 205 E. Randolph St., and Wu Force and the Lawrence Peters Outfit at Schubas, 3159 N. Southport Ave., at 8pm. Both shows are free.
Dark Matter Coffee, Threadless and Hope For The Day present ArtWARENESS, a pop-up art showcase benefiting Hope for the Day’s suicide prevention and awareness projects, takes place at Threadless HQ, 1260 W. Madison St., tonight from 6 to 9:30pm. Art by 35 local and national artists will be raffled, plus music by DJ SnicholFritz and DJ A, food from Uncle Dougie's and beer from Revolution and Brooklyn Brewing. Details on Facebook.
