The 606 Project is a group of artists who advocate the support of independent artists and handmade items. The Chicago Indie Artisan Holiday Market will be in full swing today and Sunday from noon to 5pm at 2042 N. Milwaukee Ave.
El DeBarge does two shows with local jazz band ZZAJÉ at the Promontory, 5311 S. Lake Park Ave. West, tonight at 7pm and 10pm. Doors open an hour before each show. Tickets are $30, or $50 for VIP reserved seating. 21+
Angel Olsen headlines Thalia Hall, 1807 S. Allport St. Lionlimb and State Champion open. Tickets are $20 for the main floor, $18 for the balcony. Doors are at 7:30pm, show's at 9pm. 17+
The Chicago Symphony Orchestra presents Pixar In Concert, a performance of songs from the animation studio's beloved films, Nov. 28-30 at Symphony Center, 220 S. Michigan Ave. Tonight's show is at 8pm, and tickets are $57-165 online or through the box office at 312-294-3000.
Har Mar Superstar and the Pizza Underground play the Double Door, 1572 N. Milwaukee Ave., tonight, with Toby Goodshank and Tickle Torture opening. Doors are at 8pm, show's at 9. Tickets are $16. 21+
Eye Vybe Records presents Good Vybes Fest Friday and tonight at the Empty Bottle, 1035 N. Western Ave. Today's lineup includes The Gizmos, John Krautner of The Go, Feelings, Melkbelly, Toupee and the Absolutely Not DJs. Doors open at 8:30pm. Tickets are $10 in advance or at the door, or get a $20 two-day pass. 21+
Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., hosts a night of California psychedelic sounds this evening. Opening the night will be Takashi Miyaki with their chill and dreamy psych that borders on shoegaze. Headlining will be Allah-Las, who returning to Chicago to showcase their sun kissed rock with another album under their belt. Tickets are $15, show starts at 10pm.
