The opening night gala for the Latino Film Festival starts with a screening of The Liberator (Libertador) at 6pm tonight at the AMC River East 21, 322 E. Illinois St., followed by a reception at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 511 N. Columbus Dr. Tickets for International Latino Cultural Center members are $70, and general public tickets are $85.
Hot on the heels of their 2015 album Lurid Glow, everyone's favorite kids out of Athens, GA are blowing through Chicago on their tour. Known for their high energy, face melting shows Reptar is always worth seeing live. Icky Blossoms and Deeper open. Show starts at 7pm at Abbey Pub, 3420 W Grace St. Tickets are $15.
Comedian Hannibal Buress brings his Comedy Camisado tour back to his home town for a show tonight at the Chicago Theatre, 175 N. State St. Tickets are $35-55. Doors open at 7:30pm.
