That Was Awesome @ Logan Theatre

That Was Awesome, the new film by White Mystery, screens at 4pm today at the Logan Theatre, 2646 N. Milwaukee Ave. Tickets are $10, $7.50 for students online, and are also available at the Saki store, 3716 W. Fullerton Ave. All ages.

Oran Etkin Trio @ Preston Bradley Hall

As a part of the Israeli Jazz and World Music Festival, the Oran Etkin Trio will be performing tonight at 6:30pm. Oran Etkin's music has earned snaps from the likes of New York Times music critic Ben Ratliff and musician Yusef Lateef. The performance will be held at the Chicago Cultural Center's Preston Bradley Hall, located at 78 E. Washington. Admission is free.

Guts & Glory @ Schubas

Popular live lit series Guts & Glory is coming to an end. Tonight's final show will feature readings by Dana Norris, Ian Belknap, JW Basilo, Jen Bosworth and Samantha Bailey. Keith Ecker and Samantha Irby cohost one last time. The show is at 7pm in the upstairs lounge at Schubas, 3159 N. Southport Ave. Free, 21-and-over, get there early if you hope to get in.

The Moth @ Mayne Stage

The Moth brings its story slam to Mayne Stage, 1328 W. Morse Ave., tonight at 8pm. Go hear five minute true stories and vote on your favorites. Tickets are $8 general admission or $16 for guaranteed seating. Doors open at 7pm.

Moth StorySLAM winner Erin Diamond and Comedian Bente Engelstoft host Oral, a new weekly storytelling hour at the Annoyance Theatre and Bar, 951 W. Belmont Ave., at 8pm.
