The House Legacy Project @ Millennium Park

As a part of the Chicago Cultural Center's Move Your Body: The Evolution of House Music, The House Legacy Project launches the exhibition tonight with a live commissioned performance led by Jerry C. King and Joe Smooth at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park, located at 201 E. Randolph. The performance will begin at 6pm and admission is free.

Reader's Key Ingredient Cook Off @ Lacuna Artist Lofts

The Reader's Key Ingredient Weekly Series goes big tonight at Lacuna Artist Loft Studios (2150 S. Canalport), with a huge bowl of local chefs (from places like Topolobampo, Lula Cafe and The Southern) competing for your vote with dishes made from five past secret ingredients. General admission tickets $65 (7:30-11:30pm), with a $125 VIP (6:30-11:30pm) that gets you a special rooftop cocktail party featuring bites from Next's Dave Beran. Entertainment from Windy City Soul Club; free trolley rides from the Red Line Roosevelt stop.

Offlines ft. Yinon Muallem, Guy Mintus & Donovan Mixon

Musicians Yinon Muallem, Guy Mintus and Donovan Mixon are performing at Skylight at the Heartwood Center tonight at 7pm as a part of the closing night of the Israeli Jazz and World Music Festival. Yinon Muallem, a percussionist, vocalist, and ud player, and Guy Mintus, a young jazz pianist, perform works together composed of a range of styles such as jazz, rock, Turkish, Jewish, and Indian music. Donovan Mixon, a guitarist, will be joining the duo for tonight's performance. The Heartwood Center is located at 1818 Dempster St. in Evanston. Tickets are $15.

Sepultura @ Reggies

Brazilian metal legends Sepultura bring their 30th anniversary tour to Reggies, 2105 S. State St., tonight. Destruction, Arsis, Boris the Blade and Micawber open. Doors open at 8pm. Tickets are $30. 17+

Avishai Cohen's TRIVENI @ Old Town School of Folk Music

Trumpeter Avishai Cohen will be performing tonight at the Old Town School of Folk Music as a part of the Israeli Jazz and World Music Festival's closing night. Cohen is a global leader in jazz, voted a Rising Star three years running in DownBeat Magazine's Critics Poll. You can see the trumpeter live at 8pm at the Old Town School of Folk Music, located at 4544 N. Lincoln. Tickets are $28.

You Are Here Festival

The You Are Here Festival, aka The Maze, makes its Chicago debut at Thalia Hall, 1807 S. Allport St., May 7-24. The festival takes place inside a maze, immersing attendees in the experience that includes light shows, art installations, audio experiments and live performances. Tonight's performers include ONO, Mind Over Mirrors, Potions and TalSounds. The fest runs from 9pm to midnight. Tickets are $10. 21+

Surfer Blood @ Lincoln Hall

Surfer Blood plays Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., tonight, with Alex Calder opening. Tickets are $15. Doors open at 10pm. 18+
