Chicago Combustion Rugby Tournament

The Chicago Combustion 15s rugby tournament begins at 9am today at Cricket Hill in Lincoln Park near Montrose Beach, 4400 N. Lake Shore Dr. Hosted by the Chicago Dragons, the tournament brings together teams from across the country. Free.

Randolph Street Market

The Randolph Street Market runs today and Sunday at the Plumbers Union Hall, 1340 W. Washington St., from 10am to 5pm. Shop for antique, vintage and modern furniture, jewelry, artwork and housewares. Admission is $8 in advance, $10 at the door; see the website for package deals.

Chicago Memorial Day Parade

The parade will run along State Street, starting at Lake Street and ending at Van Buren, in honor of the nation's veterans. The event will begin with a Wreath Laying Ceremony at 11am at the Eternal Flame on Daley Plaza, located at the corner of Dearborn and Washington Street. The parade, one of the largest in the country, begins at noon. Admission is free.

Belmont-Sheffield Music Fest

The 31st annual Belmont-Sheffield Music Festival helps kick off street festival season today and Sunday, from noon to 10pm, on Sheffield Avenue from Belmont to Roscoe. Enjoy live music, street fest food and check out vendors. $5 suggested donation.

Mole de Mayo

The sixth annual Mole de Mayo, a mole festival and cooking competition, takes over 18th Street in Pilsen from Ashland to Blue Island Avenue today and Sunday from noon to 9pm. Chefs will be serving their own homemade mole dishes, and the festival will have two stages of musical entertainment, visual artists, traditional Azteca danza and lucha libre. Admission is free. A Play About Immunity, Invulnerability @ Stage 773

The School for Theatre Creators begins previews today for Immunity: A Tale of Ordinary Invulnerability, a play about bacteria, vaccines and how we protect ourselves. The production opens officially on May 30 and runs through June 7 at Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont. Tickets are $15 and can be bought online. For more info, call 773-327-5252.

The Sea and Cake @ Portage Theater

The Sea and Cake headline a show at the Portage Theater, 4050 N. Milwaukee Ave., tonight, with Willis Earl Beal and American Wolf opening. Tickets are $12. Doors open at 7pm.

Reverend Billy & The Stop Shopping Choir

Anti-consumerism activist Reverend Billy and The Stop Shopping Choir brings his "Faster! Monsanto Die! Die!" tour to the Preston Bradley Center, 941 W. Lawrence Ave., tonight at 8pm. Tickets are $8 in advance, $12 at the door ($10 for students and seniors). Presented by the Guild Literary Complex and the Peoples Church of Chicago.

You Are Here Festival

The You Are Here Festival, aka The Maze, makes its Chicago debut at Thalia Hall, 1807 S. Allport St., May 7-24. The festival takes place inside a maze, immersing attendees in the experience that includes light shows, art installations, audio experiments and live performances. Tonight's performers include Quicksails. The fest runs from 9pm to midnight. Tickets are $10. 21+
