Festa Italiana
Festa Italiana runs Aug. 13-16 on Taylor Street between Ashland and Racine. Enjoy Italian food from local restaurants, shop for arts and crafts, and enjoy live music on three stages. $5 suggested donation. The festival runs from noon to 11pm today.
Glenwood Avenue Arts Festival
The Glenwood Avenue Arts Festival runs Aug. 14-16 on Glenwood and Morse Avenues. Check out art and crafts by more than 100 artists, plus visit open studios and enjoy live music and performances on three stages. Print the handy festival map and go. The festival runs from 6 to 10pm tonight.
Gallery Talk by Shari Wilkins @ Comfort Station Gallery

Chicago Nerd Comedy Festival @ Stage 773
Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont Ave., hosts the Chicago Nerds Comedy Festival, featuring various players in the nerd comedy scene, Aug. 13-16. The festival features a range of sketch comedy, stand-up, improv and funny plays; see the schedule for details. Tonight's shows begin at 7pm. Tickets are $15 per show, or get a festival pass for $65. Attend in costume and get $5 your ticket.
Mansical @ Under the Gun Theater
MANsical, a long form musical improv comedy, will begin tonight at 7:30 pm. Based off audience suggestion, seven male improvisers will delight their viewers in a free form MANtage. MANsical has performed all over Chicago, the US, and Canada and will be at Under the Gun, located at 956 W Newport on the 2nd floor, every Friday night in August at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $20.
Celine Neon @ Township

Sinister @ Bohemian National Cemetery
The 2012 horror film Sinister will be shown for free tonight at the picnic area (yes, you heard it right) of Bohemian National Cemetery (5255 N. Pulaski Rd) to help promote the film's sequel, which comes out Aug. 21st. Gates open at 8pm, film begins at 9pm. Bring blankets (and garlic).
