Madison and Wabash Bash
The Rebuilding Exchange, 1740 W. Webster Ave. hosts its Madison and Wabash Bash, a benefit party, tonight at 7:30pm. The event will feature food trucks including 5411 Empanadas and Döner Men, desserts from Whole Foods and Clif Ba, and beer from C.H.A.O.S. Brew Club and Gose Island -- plus portions of the recently decommissioned Madison/Wabash CTA station. There will also be a "Scraptacular" supplies sale. Admission is free.
Mansical @ Under the Gun Theater
MANsical, a long form musical improv comedy, will begin tonight at 7:30 pm. Based off audience suggestion, seven male improvisers will delight their viewers in a free form MANtage. MANsical has performed all over Chicago, the US, and Canada and will be at Under the Gun, located at 956 W Newport on the 2nd floor, every Friday night in August at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $20.
Jessica Hopper & Suzanne Scanlon @ Women & Children First
Authors Jessica Hopper and Suzanne Scanlon read from their books, The First Collection of Criticism by a Living Female Rock Critic and Her 37th Year: An Index, respectively, and do a Q&A with Naomi Huffman tonight at 7:30pm at Women & Children First, 5233 N. Clark St. Admission is free.

Bump & Grindcore is back at Beauty Bar, 1444 W. Chicago Ave., tonight at 9pm with Touch The Sky: A Tribute to Kanye West. Looking for something to do after dark? Go see After Dark by Acrobatica Infiniti, the Nerd Circus. Tonight at midnight is their final show at Uptown Underground on the Moonshine Mainstage located at 4713 N. Broadway. It's an uproarious and intimate variety-style circus production that includes juggling, aerial work, contortion , acrobatics and more, featuring an all-star cast of fanboy favorites from The Incredible Hulk to The Riddler.
