Think of it as Chicago Gourmet's equally interesting cousin--the first-ever Food + Wine Festival, which kicks off today at 11am in Lincoln Park and Grant Park, is a day of tastings, samplings, cooking demos, and general feelings of fabulous-ness with the usual suspects of the local culinary scene--Bayless, Izard, Segal et al. Tickets $175.
The 30th annual Bucktown Arts Fest is today and Sunday from 11am to 7pm in Holstein Park, 2200 N. Oakley Ave. View and purchase work by more than 200 artists, listen to live music on two stages, and enjoy food and craft beer. Admission is free.
The second annual Rogers Pork barbecue festival runs from noon to 10pm at Jarvis Square, 1508 W Jarvis Ave. Enjoy barbecue (including veggie options from Kale Burger), live music, art vendors and more. Admission is free.
The Chicago Fashion & Music Fest runs from noon to 10pm today and Sunday on Division Street between Damen and Paulina. There will be live music at the Damen end, curated by Subterranean, and a fashion stage on the Paulina end showcasing the work of local designers. In between, shop for clothing and accessories at vendor booths as well as neighborhood shops' sidewalk sale, enjoy food and drinks and maybe even ride a mechanical bull. $5 suggested donation.
Funny or Die's comedy festival Oddball Fest returns to the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre, 19100 Ridgeland Ave. in Tinley Park, tonight, featuring Aziz Ansari, Amy Schumer , Anthony Jeselnik, Bridget Everett, Jay Pharoah, Jeff Ross, Nick Kroll, Rachel Feinstein, T.J. Miller and more. Gates open at 5pm. Tickets are $20-150 plus fees.

Filmfront is presenting, "Ripe Leeks: forces adrift", a new quarterly screening series, tonight at 7pm on 1740 W 18th St. "Forces Adrift" will feature work by Alejandro Jimenez, Fern Silva, Jason Ogawa, Traci Hercher, and Ian Curry.
You're Being Ridiculous, the sassy, funny and fun storytelling show created by Jeremy Owens, returns to Mary's Attic. With three shows this month, there's sure to be a date that matches your calendar. Come out tonight to hear funny & touching stories on the theme "Rites of Passage" from Kat Barker, Mike Blumberg, Kristin Davis, Kelly Duff, Jennie Ellman, James Finn Garner, Willy Nast, Jeremy Owens AND Elsa Perez.
