Open House Chicago

Ever wonder what the inside of those beautiful buildings around the city of Chicago look like? The Chicago Architecture Foundation opens up those buildings for an Open House. Tourists and Chicagoans alike can take a look inside the buildings you couldn't walk into before! From 9am to 5pm today and tomorrow, check out the site map here and go somewhere you've never explored. Free!

Threadless Garage Sale

Threadless is holding a garage sale at its West Loop headquarters, 1260 W. Madison St. from 10am to 4pm today. Hang out with the employees and help them clear out dead stock -- as well as stuff like arcade games, artwork and a charcoal grill -- for as little as $1.

Chili Fest

Chili Fest pairs chili and football for an outdoor food festival in the parking lot at 218 W. Ohio St. today and Sunday. Sample competition-grade chili from seven competitors and vote for your favorite, then watch the Michigan State vs. Michigan game and other college football on the big screen. There will also be a coat drive -- donate new and gently used coats, hats, gloves and thermals. The fest runs from 10am to 7pm today. Tickets are $10-$40 depending on if you go with a drink package.

Wine Riot @ Union Station

Second Glass presents the Wine Riot in the Great Hall at Union Station, 500 W. Jackson St., Friday and today. Sample dozens of wines, get crash courses on varietals and regions, and share the night via the Instagram station, photobooth and postcards. There are two sessions today, from 1 to 5pm and from 7 to 11pm. Tickets are $60 per session. 21 and over, obviously.

Destination Devon: Art Walk @ Edgebrook

To celebrate Chicago Artists Month, Edgebrook at Devon & Central hosts an Art Walk from 2pm to 5pm today where you can meet artists, enjoy their work, and partake in refreshments. Tickets are available online for a suggested donation of $10. Come out and support local artists!

Brian Posehn @ Beat Kitchen

Comedian Brian Posehn does a set at Beat Kitchen tonight, with Dan Telfer opening. Tickets are $23 online, $25 at the door -- but don't bet on there being any available there. Get'em now. Doors are at 6:30, show's at 7:30pm. 21+

50 States of Gay @ Under the Gun Theater

This show, "50 States of Gay": Let Freedom (Cock)Ring!, will premiere at Under the Gun Theater, 956 W Newport Ave at 7:30pm. Tickets are $15 ($10 for students) and can be purchased by calling (773) 270-3440 or online here.

Peaches @ Metro

Musician and multimedia artist Peaches brings her Rub tour to the Metro, 3730 N. Clark St., tonight, with Deap Vally opening. Doors open at 8pm, show's at 9pm. Tickets are $23 in advance, $26 at the door. 18+

BRONCHO @ Lincoln Hall

Tonight at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., the Bonnaroo Spotlight Series hits town, featuring BRONCHO, Twinsmith and local act Sunjacket opening. Sunjacket is looking for votes as they compete with local bands in Philadelphia, Boston, Seattle and Raleigh to get on the Bonnaroo bill next year. Tickets are $14. Doors open at 9:30pm. 21+
