Green City Market holds a Culinary Garage Sale today at Naha, 500 N. Clark St. Pay $10 and go shopping for chef coats, promotional items, cookware, silverware, kitchen gadgets and more. The sale is open from 8am to noon -- or pay $50 for VIP access an hour earlier and grab the most coveted stuff before anyone else sees it! Proceeds of the sale benefit Green City Market's education programming.

ChillFest

The third annual ChillFest returns to Wicker Park and Bucktown today from noon to 5pm. More than 100 musicians perform live at 20 businesses around the neighborhood; see the schedule for details. Free.

Bridgeport's Got Beef @ Co-Prosperity Sphere

Bridgeport's Got Beef, an Italian beef competition, today from 3 to 5:30pm at Co-Prosperity Sphere, 3219 S. Morgan St. Taste eight different beef sandwiches, wash them down with Marz Brewing beer, and vote for your favorite. Tickets are $35, or $50 with your choice of tote bag or t-shirt. Proceeds benefit the Public Media Institute.

Game Positive @ Neo-Futurarium

The Neo-Futurists perform a special video-game-themed version of their long-running show Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind tonight at 7:00pm as a fundraising event. The Drive-By Truckers @ Thalia Hall

WXRT presents a two-night stand by the Drive-By Truckers, Friday and tonight, at Thalia Hall, 1807 S. Allport Ave. The Dexateens open. Tickets are $26 in advance, $28 at the door. Both shows are part of XRT's annual Holiday Concert for the Kids series, and concertgoers are encouraged to bring a unwrapped new or like-new toys and books to be donated to kids in local hospitals.
