- As noted in Merge, Chicago-gal Liz Phair will perform Exile in Guyville live in honor of the album's reissue, along with three unreleased B-sides and "Guyville Redux" DVD. Chicago concert date/location TBA.
- Third Coast Audio Festival's Radio Ephemera contest now offers a free t-shirt to the first five entrants. Details.
- Removed "out of some weird spite thing" after lil' label Mr. Hyde Records folded in 2006, the six albums are now back online.
- Tomorrow night, 5/21, is local label Contraphonic's DJ Night @ The Burlington.
- Final lineup for the music end of the Taste of Chicago has been announced. It's going to be Gomez and Alejandro Escovedo on July 4th, Bonnie Raitt and on July 5th, and Aly & AJ, A Cursive Memory, and Keke Palmeron on July 6th.

The Mr. Hyde comps are quite amazing, and I'm not just saying that because a band of mine is on four of them -- that was a vibrant and eclectic scene we had in HP, and it's a shame it died away after so many of us graduated.
