isn't dead as rumors have said, but he is in a coma after a suicide attempt. Update: the New York Times confirms that Chesnutt has passed away as of this afternoon. Here's a video of his performance of the song "Flirted With You All My Life" at Lincoln Hall on November 5, 2009. - Alarm Magazine puts the Russian Circles show at Lincoln Hall as its year's best.
