Go Ga-Ga Somewhere Else
If thought you had one of the tickets to the upcoming Lady Ga Ga shows January 8, 9, and 10, 2010, well, you don't. The shows have been moved from the Chicago Theatre to the Rosemont Theatre due to production issues. Tickets to the Chicago Theatre shows (which sold out in 15 minutes) will not be honored by the Rosemont, so you'll need to get a refund on those. But there is an exclusive presale starting tonight at 5pm for those who had tickets originally. Details at the Chicago Theatre site, or click below to read a statement provided by the Chicago.
Update According to a Chicago Reader Early Warning email received this morning, any additional Lady Ga Ga tickets that are available after the pre-sale will go on sale Monday, January 4th at 10am.
From the Chicago Theatre:
Please note that Chicago Theatre tickets will not be honored for the shows at the Rosemont Theatre. Customers who purchased their Chicago Theatre show(s) tickets via Ticketmaster.com or Ticketmaster's charge by phone service will be contacted via email or phone regarding the ticket refund procedure. Tickets ordered through Ticketmaster Phones or Ticketmaster Online will be automatically credited to the original purchaser's credit card account within 7 to 10 business days. Tickets purchased through Ticketmaster Outlets or through The Chicago Theatre's Box Office must be returned to the original point of purchase for a full refund. An exclusive presale opportunity for existing customers only for the new performances at The Rosemont Theatre starts Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. CST
Tickets purchased through Ticketmaster Outlets or through The Chicago Theatre's Box Office must be returned to the original point of purchase for a full refund.

You are kidding right?! If people were lucky enough to exchange tickets it was not comparable to where they were. If you were as unfortunate as I was to purchase thru STUB.HUB the first time you were not allowed an even exchange. Then to find out that during this so-called pre-sale for chicago theatre ticket holders the brokers were already selling them at double the price and no where near where you were before. So general public tickets?! Forget it they are already gone!!!! FYI another buyer beware, always!!!
