New Smashing Pumpkins Track

The third installment of The Smashing Pumpkins' Teargarden by Kaleidyscope was released via Sound Cloud this morning. The song is called "A Stitch in Time" and will also be available to download via later today. After 19-year-old drummer Mike Byrne's cringe-worthy debut in the band's last release, "Widow Wake My Mind", I'd been hoping, for his sake, that he'd really bust his chops with this next song. Unfortunately, "A Stitch in Time" is devoid of drums completely, so I guess he'll have to wait another 4-6 weeks to redeem himself.

BIG MAC / March 2, 2010 10:06 AM

I keep hoping they are going to find Billy Corgan's mangled corpse in a gutter before the next release as, this would make it difficult to continue slandering the name of (what used to be) one of the greatest bands of all time.

I'm hoping not for your death, Big Mac, but for Gapers Block to delete your comment.

This really takes me back to the early days of psychedelia, when anything seemed possible (musically speaking).
I really hope Billy continues in this ultra-creative vein.
