Chief Keef's Love Affair with Food

"Since I've been eating, now I like a bunch of food!" Although he's famous for run-ins with the law, this lyric from Chief Keef's 2014 track "Stupid" showcases his affinity toward another artform: food.

Turns out, he's always liked rapping about various cuisines. And just last week, he dropped a track called "Heinz Ketchup," using condiments as a vehicle for expression:

"You stuck in mayonnaise, ketchup
You got mayonnaise ways, catch ya
You mustard, catch ya"

Here are some of the best food-inspired lyrics from Chief Sosa:

"Just like Wokcano, bitch I'm Curry'd up/ Cheese in my pockets, Velveeta"

This snippet from his recent underground smash "Faneto" compares the California Asian-fusian restaurant's dish to Stephen Curry's jersey number, which also symbolizes the number of clips on his gun. Then he uses Velveeta as a metaphor for that high-calorie gwop, aka money.

"Pull up doing hits, eating on some cereal/ White chocolate, white milk, red cheerios"

How he drives, hits the ganja and eats a bowl of cereal at the same time is beyond me.

"Glock on me, turn your ass to tofu/ Turn your ass to Thai food"

As noted on "Sosa Style," he can and will bust your brains into that mushy textured protein substitute in Pad Thai.

"My daughter call me mad, she said she gon' eat all my chips/ These n----s always mad they wanna eat all my dip"

His 3-year-old daughter Kay Kay knows how to get to her dad-- threaten to eat his Tostitos.

"Fresh as f--k, lookin' like I'm goin' on a luncheon/ Now I got a belly of a beast, I be munchin'"

Now that Chief can afford good food, he eats a lot of it--and looks good doing it. He pours himself "a four and hits White Castle, bitch" in "Slam Dunkin'," and can be found "coolin' with my vatos eatin' tacos" in "Fishin'," but you probably can't catch him eating McDonald's:
