The Darkness is Coming to the House of Blues
Do you still believe in a thing called love? The Darkness does. The band reassembled in 2011 after a 4 year hiatus and is now touring to promote their 2015 album Last of Our Kind. The Suffolk based rock group has been through a lot since their beginnings in 2000 -- rehab, quadruple platinum albums -- but they've remained almost completely intact, with only drummer Ed Graham missing from these shows, replaced by Rufus Tiger Taylor. The group is known for the cult following of their live shows -- just give Hawkins' soprano a listen and you can probably get an idea why that may be the case. I figure it can only be even more amazing in person. Buy your ticket here for the House of Blues' show on October 20th. House of Blues is located at 329 North Dearborn, doors open at 6:30.
