SXSW, the country's largest music festival, is featuring more than a dozen local bands at its official showcase concerts, plus many more from the region. Here's the full list of confirmed bands so far; more will no doubt be added closer to the festival, which runs March 18-22 (and a couple unofficial days before and after) in Austin, TX. See a list of confirmed local bands after the jump.

An "official" list posted on Stereogum and elsewhere also lists Kid Sister and Willy Joy, and Blueblood claims they're confirmed, but as of yet none is on SXSW's site.

We're also on the lookout for local bands playing at one (or more) of the dozens of "unofficial" showcases at SXSW. If your band is headed down, please let us know in the comments. And, of course, stay tuned for coverage from the festival itself in March.
