This orange rated romanesque building was constructed in 1889 and is being demolished following a July 1 fire that resulted in a serious firefighter injury.
Even a representative of the wrecking company was disappointed that the building was to be demolished.

Over the course of 2012 David Schalliol produced a photographic portrait of 100 of the hundreds of buildings threatened with demolition in the city of Chicago.
