Permit Description: Wreck and remove a SFR residence with no garage.
Status: Demolition permit issued 3/20/2012

The center single family home was the victim of foreclosure in 2009, although the deed wasn't transferred until 2010. There were no 311 calls in the interim. It recently sold for $117,500 to the owners of the building to the north (right).

About the series

Over the course of 2012 David Schalliol produced a photographic portrait of 100 of the hundreds of buildings threatened with demolition in the city of Chicago. Nearly all of the buildings have since been demolished. Visit the background information section for more information about the project, including definitions and links to other building resources.
