One of only a few buildings demolished in Bridgeport this year, this building was "priced to sell," which it did for $90,000 in October 2011, although it was relisted shortly thereafter. Nearly a year later, a permit for new construction was issued on November 9 to "Erect a new 2 story single family home with basement and 2 care detached garage per plans."

Over the course of 2012 David Schalliol produced a photographic portrait of 100 of the hundreds of buildings threatened with demolition in the city of Chicago.
