Owner: City of Chicago (court-ordered demolition)
Permit Description: Wreck and remove 2-story brick building.
Status: Demolition permit issued 12/9/2011 - Now demolished

Additional Details

Despite building permits issued for electrical work and other remodeling in 2006 and 2007, the building received a court-ordered demolition permit at the end of 2011. At the time of photographing, the cornice had already been partially removed by the demolition firm.

Over the course of 2012 David Schalliol produced a photographic portrait of 100 of the hundreds of buildings threatened with demolition in the city of Chicago.
